Grapes, raisins, grape juice and, yes, wine are very bad for dogs. Why then do some dogs take an interest? Well, we humans take an interest in things that aren't good for us, too. So, while much of the fear about plant-related toxins is not really grounded, please do take care about keeping your dog out of the wine box or bottle, or carafe, or that random glass sitting on the floor after a party. Dogs, like many of us, don't know when to stop.
